A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Tooele on Tuesday night. A call reporting the auto-pedestrian crash, which occurred about 450 North Main, came in just before 8:30 p.m., said Tooele police Officer Tanya Turnbow. The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, Turnbow said, but because the facility is not equipped to treat trauma, he may be flown to a Salt Lake area hospital by medical helicopter.
