A motorcyclist was in critical condition after he hit the side of a car on a freeway ramp in Murray early Sunday afternoon. The 60-year-old motorcyclist from Taylorsville was merging onto a southbound ramp for Interstate 15 from I-215 about 2:10 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Jacob Cox. He attempted to pass two vehicles traveling side by side in separate lanes and struck the car on the left.
