Two people are dead after a Wednesday night shooting in Carbon County. One “person of interest” was in police custody after the shooting that left a man and a woman dead, according to Whitney Waterfall, Carbon County emergency management specialist. The shooting occurred about 6 p.m. near the rural town of Hiawatha. Three people were taken into custody, but two were released, Waterfall said.
