Police are investigating a late Tuesday night drive-by shooting that sent a west Salt Lake City woman to the hospital. Public safety dispatchers confirm officers were rushed to the home, near 1000 N. Star Crest Drive (about 1800 West), after several 911 calls reporting gunfire came in about 9:20 p.m. Officers found that one of half a dozen bullets that hit the home had struck the woman in the leg.
